Senior Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure Design Architect maintain and optimise cloud environments using services such as RDS ECS S3 Lambda CloudWatch and VPC.
• Terraform Automation Build maintain and improve Terraform modules; enforce IaC best practices; manage multienvironment deployments.
• Container & Orchestration Support and enhance Dockerbased workloads and ECS deployments.
• CI/CD Ownership Contribute to GitLab CI pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Security & Secrets Management Manage and improve secret storage and access patterns using HashiCorp Vault.
• Scripting & Automation Develop automation scripts and tooling ideally in Python.
• CrossTeam Collaboration Work closely with developers and product teams to support delivery and improve operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• AWS Expertisewith productionlevel experience across core services (RDS ECS S3 Lambda IAM networking).
• Terraform Proficiencyincluding module creation state management and complex multienvironment setups.
• Dockerand container lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines runners and deployment patterns.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vaultfor secrets and policy management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

NicetoHave

• Knowledge of monitoring/observabilitytools (Prometheus Grafana etc.).
• Scripting skills ideally Python for automation and tooling.
• Exposure to cost optimisationin AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure securityand compliance frameworks.
