Job title: Senior Chemist

Location: Royston or Brimsdown

The role:

As a Senior Chemist you will help drive our goals by:

• Promotes high environmental health and safety standards and behaviours for self and co-workers.

• Ensures work is carried out in line with appropriate risk assessments (task-based risk COSHH manual handling etc) for development work

• Demonstrates initiative innovation and creativity to deliver business objectives

• Responsible for key technical work required for business development and improvement

• Undertakes Project Manager role for NPI Refining projects

• Formulates Project Charters to efficiently address business needs ensuring that inputs are included from key
  stakeholders (Operations Commercial and Supply Chain)

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• MSc / BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related discipline

• Experience within a laboratory environment

• Experience of EHS documents such as COSHH manual handling task-based risk assessments

• Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills to the needs of the business

• An ability to provide innovative solutions to problems
