As a Senior Care Assistant you will need to hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care and be willing to complete level 3. In addition you will have experience leading coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.
Our committed team provides care to more than 1000 adults across Lancashire. It runs16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centreswhere the team provides support for older people adults living with dementia and their families.

This position is part time please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis.

Local Government Reorganisation
The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North South East and West Lancashire from April 2028.
If you are successful in your application you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However as part of the planned transition your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028 subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
