Senior Care Assistant - Day Shifts. Longridge Hall Care Home

• Hourly Rate: £15.03 per hour
• Hours: 38.5 hours per week (3-4 shifts per week on a rolling rota)
• Shift Pattern: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

We are now seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on days. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong leadership abilities excellent care standards and a genuine passion for supporting others.

In this role you will:

• Provide high-quality personcentred care that promotes dignity independence and wellbeing.
• Deliver personal care emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Administer medication safely and in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Lead supervise and support care staff to ensure consistent high standards.
• Assist with staff development including mentoring and supporting new team members.
• Ensure compliance with care plans policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to care planning and complete accurate risk assessments.
• Maintain thorough timely documentation and recordkeeping.
• Communicate effectively with families colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Support daily operations and assist the Home Manager as required.
• Maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for residents relatives and visitors.
• Promote best practice in infection control health and safety and quality assurance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong communication organisational and leadership skills.
• A compassionate professional and personcentred approach.
• Flexibility to work a rolling rota including alternate weekends.
