Senior Business Manager

Location: West Midlands (DY6)
Sector: Logistics & Supply Chain
Salary: (DOE) OTE (to be clarified)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office)
Start Date: ASAP

Our client a growing business within the logistics and supply chain sector is looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Air Sea & Road Freight to establish and lead its Freight Forwarding division.

This is a unique opportunity to build a department from the ground up working closely with senior leadership to develop operations drive business growth build customer relationships and recruit a high-performing team.

• Lead the development and growth of the Air Sea & Road Freight division.
• Develop operational processes and best practices.
• Build mentor and manage the freight forwarding team.
• Develop relationships with customers overseas agents and suppliers.
• Drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.
• Oversee day-to-day freight forwarding operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Youll have:

• Proven Air & Sea Freight forwarding experience.
• Previous management or senior leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and business development skills.
• Excellent knowledge of international freight forwarding.
• Customs and Road Freight experience (desirable).
• Strong leadership communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive entrepreneurial approach.
