Job Summary
- Lead business analysis activities across complex transformation and IT projects.
- Gather analyse and document business functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops meetings and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce business cases process maps impact assessments and solution documentation.
- Act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Support system implementations upgrades and business change programmes.
- Develop acceptance criteria and support testing activities.
- Identify risks dependencies and opportunities throughout project lifecycles.
- Promote best practice business analysis methodologies across projects and programmes.
- Support the development of business analysis capability within the organisation.
- Significant experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale business change transformation or IT projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Experience producing high-quality requirements and business documentation.
- Strong knowledge of business process mapping and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working between business and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex project demands.
- Experience applying BCS Business Analysis principles and methodologies.
- Local Government or Public Sector experience.
- BCS Business Analysis qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working on digital transformation programmes.
- Experience supporting procurement implementation or systems integration projects.
