Job Summary
Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor seeking a senior role with greater autonomy high-value work and a genuine pathway to Partnership This is a standout opportunity to join a respected London firm where you will work with high-net-worth individuals build long-term client relationships and play an integral role in the growth of the department.
Our client is looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Associate Private Client to take the lead on complex matters and help shape the future direction of the team.
In this senior role you will manage a broad and high-quality caseload including:
- Wills trusts and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Probate and estate administration including complex estates
- Advising on Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and wealth structuring
- Creation and management of lifetime and discretionary trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Court of Protection work
- Providing tailored advice on asset protection and succession planning
You will also:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
- Contribute to business development and networking activities
- Play a key role in the strategic development of the team
To be considered for this opportunity you should demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 510 years PQE in Private Client work within a UK law firm
- Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families
- Excellent technical knowledge of IHT trusts and estate planning
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
- Strong drafting analytical and client-facing skills
- STEP qualification (full or part-qualified) highly desirable
- Experience supervising junior staff and contributing to team development
- A commercially minded approach with an interest in business development
