This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data analyst/scientist who wants to remain hands-on with advanced analytics whileoperatingas arecognisedtechnical specialist.Youllplay a key role in developing predictive analytics and machine learning solutions that influence how we invest in and manage critical water and water recycling assets.

Working within our growing Asset Analytics functionyoullcollaborate with Data Scientists DataEngineersand business stakeholders to solve complex real-world challenges turning data into actionable insight that delivers value for customerscommunitiesand the environment.

Whatyoullbe doing
  • Deliver advanced analytics dashboards and insight products that support strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Apply statistical analysis predictiveanalyticsand machine learning techniques to complex asset management challenges.

  • Develop forecastingregressionand classification models that improve performance and support investment planning.

  • Build repeatable scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows to improve efficiency and insight delivery.

  • Use storytelling andvisualisationtechniques to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Work alongside Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop and scale innovative analytical solutions.

  • Identifyopportunities to apply analytics predictivemodellingand AI-enabled approaches to business problems.

  • Work with innovation programs toleverageAI and other emerging technologies.

Whatwerelooking for:
Technical Experience
  • Degree qualification in Data Science Statistics MachineLearningarelated discipline or equivalent practical experience.

  • Advanced SQL and Python and/or R skills.

  • Experience delivering complex analytics and insight products that drive business value.Strong understanding of statistical analysis predictiveanalyticsand machine learning techniques.

  • Experience using Power BI or equivalent datavisualisationtools.

  • Strong understanding of data modelling datastructuresand working with complex datasets.
