SANTANDER UK PLC is looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER based out of Milton Keynes (Unity Place). 6 Month - FTC
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join us within the CFO Division. The Group Reporting team is responsible for the consolidation control and submission of the consolidated financial information for 150 UK legal entities to both Santander Group and to other internal stakeholders to support the preparation the San UK consolidated Financial Statements MI information analytical review and additional disclosures reported externally to the market both locally and at a Group level.

Collaborating with the Senior Manager Group Reporting you will drive the processes that facilitate the accounting disclosures and any other requirements arising from the acquisition of TSB.
Act as a point of key interaction with existing members of the Group reporting team as well as internal and external auditors to provide explanations regarding the reported figures and controls implemented to ensure the quality of the information disclosed as well as the robustness of processes developed.
Work closely with Technical Reporting and Intervencion General to provide technical accounting and financial reporting solutions relating to the companies and how they affect divisions across the Santander UK Group
Provide information that is used in the preparation of the relevant annual half-yearly and quarterly financial reports for Santander UK Group Holdings plc and Santander UK plc.

Professional Experience
A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience of working within the UK public company reporting environment (required)
Hard Skills
Group consolidation and reporting experience (Required)
Experience of financial services (Required)
Knowledge of Santander consolidation processes (Preferred)
Working knowledge of Oracle Financial systems (Preferred)
Knowledge of Goodwill computation and testing (Preferred)
Soft Skills
Attention to detail (Required)
Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders (Required)

Salary Range:
77600.00 - 116400.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
