The role would suit an experienced practice accountant who enjoys managing client relationships working across accounts and tax and is looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine responsibility and progression.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant job include:
Managing your own portfolio of established clients
Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
Completing VAT returns
Acting as a key point of contact for clients
Dealing with day-to-day client queries and accounting requirements
Managing deadlines across your own portfolio
Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
Reviewing work and supporting more junior members of the team where required

Requirements of the Senior Accountant job include:
Previous accountancy practice experience essential
Strong accounts preparation and tax experience
ACA or ACCA qualified part-qualified or QBE candidates considered
Confident dealing directly with clients and managing relationships
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload
Good technical knowledge and attention to detail
