Job: Senior Accountant
Location: North Bradford Area
Salary:up to 45000

A well established independent accountancy practice in the North Bradford area is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded practice professional who enjoys working closely with clients supporting business owners and providing advice beyond traditional compliance work.

The role offers a highly varied workload direct exposure to Partners and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established and respected practice.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant job include:

Managing a portfolio of SME clients
Acting as a key point of contact for client relationships
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
Reviewing work completed by junior team members
Supporting business advisory and consultancy projects
Assisting clients with forecasting cashflow planning and commercial decision making
Supporting Partners with technical and client-related matters
Providing practical solutions across a broad range of accounting and business issues
Assisting with tax-related work and client queries where required

Requirements of the Senior Accountant job include:

Previous experience working within UK accountancy practice
ACA / ACCA qualified part-qualified or qualified by experience considered
Strong accounts preparation and client management experience
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
