AECOM is currently seeking a talented Senior Bridge Inspector to support our Bridges & Structures team in Birmingham.

This opportunity will involve a combination of remote work office presence and field work performing hands-on inspection of bridge structures throughout the United Kingdom.

AECOM works with clients of various sizes and sectors across the UK&I. Typically this includes:

• Local Authority
• Network Rail
• National Highway Structural Inspection work
• Involvement in different types of structures where specialist access skills are required.

This important role offers participation in a variety of challenging projects and a dynamic work environment due to the number type and size of bridges that make up the vast portfolio of the experienced bridge group this engineer will be joining.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Lantra BICS accreditation beneficial
• Confined Space Training beneficial
• Commitment to working a minimum of 2 days per week in our Birmingham Office.
• Strong technical skills in bridge engineering and a keen commitment to quality with a right first time approach to your own work.
• Experience in the production of drawings risk assessments and reporting.
