Following a comprehensive review of our SEND service we have introduced a number of new roles as part of our wider SEND Transformation. These changes represent a significant investment in our workforce and reaffirm our commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEND Specialist Teacher to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality inclusive education across schools and educational settings. Working under the direction of the SEND Specialist Lead Teacher you will provide specialist advice coaching and practical support to teachers SENDCos and support staff. You will model effective inclusive practice contribute to workforce development through training and professional learning and work collaboratively with schools families and partner agencies to help children and young people with SEND thrive.

The successful candidate will: hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally a National SENCo Award or relevant SEND qualification with experience of inclusive teaching supporting SEND improvement and delivering training or coaching within educational settings. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND are essential.
