Job Summary
A highly regarded school in Uxbridge is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join its team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who wants to make a genuine difference to the educational development and progress of students with special educational needs.
The successful SEN Teacher will deliver engaging differentiated lessons that are adapted to the individual needs and abilities of students. You will create a calm inclusive and positive learning environment while working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff to ensure students receive the appropriate support.
The school is looking for a teacher who can build strong relationships with students maintain high expectations and encourage learners to develop their confidence independence and academic skills.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with students with SEN
Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies
Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A patient nurturing and consistent approach
Commitment to supporting the wider development of students
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of additional needs
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals
Promote positive behaviour confidence and independence
Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment
