Job Summary
An excellent school in Hampshire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join its team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and creating a positive inclusive learning environment.
The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants pastoral staff and other professionals to provide a consistent and supportive approach to learning.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
Creating a structured positive and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils academic social and emotional development
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Working closely with teaching assistants and other professionals
Contributing to individual education and support plans
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour engagement and achievement
The school is looking for a qualified SEN Teacher with strong knowledge of inclusive teaching and differentiated learning. Previous experience working with pupils with additional needs would be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate should have strong classroom management skills excellent communication abilities and a patient and nurturing approach. A genuine commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential is essential.
