Job Summary
A supportive school in Uxbridge is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Class Teacher to join its specialist team on a full-time basis starting ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and who can create a positive structured and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful SEN Class Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that are carefully adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants senior leaders and other professionals to support pupils academic social and personal development.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons based on individual needs
Creating a safe positive and structured classroom environment
Supporting pupils academic communication and social development
Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other support staff
Contributing to individual education and support plans
Maintaining high expectations while providing appropriate support
The school is seeking an SEN Class Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching pupils with SEN
Has strong classroom management and communication skills
Can adapt teaching effectively to different learning needs
Is patient resilient and committed to inclusive education
Works effectively as part of a wider team
Is passionate about helping every pupil make meaningful progress
