Job Summary
An outstanding school in Hounslow is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join its specialist teaching team on a full-time basis starting ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with special educational needs and creating a positive inclusive classroom where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their potential.
The successful SEN Class Teacher will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons that are adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with support staff families and other professionals to provide a consistent and nurturing learning environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Creating a structured positive and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils academic social and emotional development
Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other support professionals
Contributing to individual education and support plans where appropriate
Maintaining high expectations while providing appropriate support and encouragement
The school is seeking an SEN Class Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience working with pupils with SEN
Has strong classroom management and communication skills
Can adapt teaching to meet a wide range of individual needs
Is patient resilient and committed to inclusive education
Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Is passionate about helping pupils make meaningful progress
