SEMH Teaching Assistant Newham
Senovo is recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Newham. You will support secondary-aged pupils who benefit from calm adults clear expectations and consistent encouragement.
The role
Support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs in lessons and structured activities.
Use positive low-arousal approaches to promote regulation and engagement.
Build constructive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
Work with teachers therapists and pastoral colleagues.
About you
Relevant experience in SEN schools youth work mentoring or behaviour support.
Calm under pressure with strong de-escalation skills.
Patient reliable and committed to safeguarding.
QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: 95115 per day PAYE. Full-time opportunity.
