Our client a well-established name in the security systems industry is seeking a skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Blackfriars London.

Position Overview

As a Service and Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality service and maintenance activities either directly or through contractors. Your expertise will ensure that all work is completed on schedule and meets both client and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver all service and maintenance activities ensuring timely completion to required standards

  • Produce high-quality documentation and reports

  • Manage client interactions with strong communication skills

  • Apply fault-finding techniques for prompt issue resolution

  • Provide technical support to clients

  • Attend multiple callouts daily to improve first-time fix rates

  • Support the Project Installations team when needed

  • Encourage client feedback surveys

Requirements
  • Minimum 4-8 years of industry experience in Security Systems Service and Maintenance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of organization and practical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Proficiency in MS Office and work management applications

  • Demonstrable knowledge of IP technology and good understanding of networking (Cisco TCP/IP routing switching)

  • Experience with Service and Maintenance QA and report writing

  • Proven problem-solving ability

  • Preferred experience servicing maintaining and troubleshooting Access Control Intercoms CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems

  • Customer-facing experience and ability to integrate multiple systems

  • Familiarity with NSI standards and advanced understanding of IP networks and VLANS

  • Full clean UK driving license
