Security Officer

Responsibilities

Youll play a vital part in keeping people property and information safe. That includes:

Welcoming and assisting staff visitors and contractors.
Conducting regular security patrols and site inspections.
Monitoring and protecting people property and assets.
Controlling access responding to alarms and operating CCTV systems.
Supporting emergency procedures including evacuations and searches.
Investigating incidents and reporting security or safety concerns promptly.
Completing security checks incident reports and site records accurately.
Carrying out locking/unlocking duties and supporting health and safety procedures.
Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Ensuring compliance with site procedures regulations and security standards.

What were looking for:

Were looking for someone who sees a different worldsomeone who values teamwork shows initiative and wants to grow. Ideally youll have:

• A valid SIA Licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Committed to the values of Integrity Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts including days nights and weekends.

• Desirable:

• Previous experience as a Security Officer.
• A full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
• A valid First Aid qualification.
