Security Officer

• Monitor and control site access ensuring visitors are correctly authorised before entry. 
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment. 
• Respond promptly to alarms incidents and emergency situations.
• Monitor CCTV systems and key access points where applicable. 
• Maintain accurate incident reports logs and security records.
• Support residents and visitors by providing guidance and managing behaviours professionally. 
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff residents and visitors at all times.
• Liaise with management regarding serious incidents and security concerns. 
• Enforce site procedures relating to fire safety access control and occupancy compliance. 
• Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the values of Integrity Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Qualifications :

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. 
• Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. 
• High level of attention to detail. 
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally. 
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide a five-year checkable employment history and satisfy screening requirements including enhanced DBS checks where required.

Desirable

• Fire Warden qualification (or willingness to undertake training). 
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport.
