The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities with a focus on:Carrying out global travel security assessment and providing recommendationsLeading and coordinating emergency and evacuation support among various stakeholdersConducting security and operational tasks in a timely and professional mannerTraining and managing Security Specialists Global OperationsYou will be required to advise on & manage security mandated operational tasks and ad hoc services expertly and clearly in support of our clients travel requirements ensuring the preservation of their safety and security during the routine and in response to global security and natural disaster You Will Work OnRisk Assessment & Operational PlanningLead travel and threat assessments for proposed tasks/travel using privileged and open-source platformsComplete operational risk assessments method statements and develop operational action and conceptual plansCoordinate and manage ad hoc travel security tasks including secure transport protection proactive monitoring and welfare checksPlan complex operational solutions from concept to delivery aligned with client specifications and contracted servicesClient Advisory & CommunicationsDeliver tailored pre-travel briefings and security presentations to a diverse client base (e.g. expats NGOs corporates C-suite)Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) with appropriate security content mitigation measures and recommendationsProvide emergency security and evacuation advice including participation in contingency planning meetings and conference callsExplain operational methodologies and provide assurance to clients during escalating or deteriorating situationsCrisis Response & Contingency ManagementMonitor global events review client exposure and support contingency and evacuation planningIdentify deteriorating environments exit routes transport hubs and relocation sites; produce supporting maps and intelligenceLead evacuation and emergency support tasks providing real-time operational oversightMaintain a library of Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for evacuation and internal movements from various countries to be used at time of emergency and evacuationTask Execution & OversightEnsure security tasks are carried out per scope including action timelines escalation procedures and completion reportsMaintain operational logs close cases post-task and manage invoicing and cost recoveryTrack and supervise the delivery of live operations ensuring high standards of execution and customer satisfactionTeam Supervision & Capability DevelopmentSupervise and support Security Specialists in daily operations and emergency responsesLead recruitment onboarding and training of Global Operations Centre personnelConduct coaching mentoring performance reviews and training exercises for operational readinessManage staff rostering and leave approvals for the regional Global Operations CentreQuality Assurance & Process ImprovementMaintain quality control standards ensure client satisfaction and monitor service delivery performanceIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across technology personnel and workflow processesContribute to internal performance metrics KPI reporting and benchmarking effortsDocumentation Reporting & Protocol DevelopmentCompile post-operational reports for internal learning and external marketing/case studiesProduce and implement Global Operations Centre protocols and client-specific SOPsEnsure thorough documentation and archiving of all security-related tasks and learningsFinancial CoordinationDevelop task-specific cost structures apply cost containment strategies and liaise with vendors for quotesPresent proposals and coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate billing and paymentsPlatform & Compliance OversightAssist with the implementation and use of technology platforms and call-handling systemsEnsure adherence to company policies including Information Security and Data ProtectionMaintain a strong understanding of Crisis24 service offerings tools and client relationshipsRepresentation & Additional ResponsibilitiesRepresent the Security Operations team in internal/external meetings as neededServe as deputy for the Head of Security when requiredCarry out ad hoc security and operational tasks as assignedTravel for client engagement conferences and training as requested. Sometime urgent travel as part of the Incident Management Team (IMT) deploymentRotational On-Call Duty ManagementServe as the out-of-hours Operations Duty Manager one week in every eightMaintain 24/7 readiness to support Global Operations Centre staff during urgent incidentsProvide immediate client-facing crisis management support and lead emergency response operations as requiredWho You Will Work WithThis position works alongside and in support of your fellow Security & Operations Managers the Global Operations Centre staff & Intelligence teams to deliver 24/7/365 proactive and reactive risk management services. You will regularly collaborate with specialist Crisis24 departments account managers proposals & implementation team and external security parties & Security Manager will be highly responsive during emergency and life-threatening situations.
