Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist

Location: Farnborough (onsite 5 days per week)

Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements including the applicable residency requirements for the role and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
  • Assist in implementing security policies and standards collaborating with the security team.
  • Monitor security events and incidents escalating and documenting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
  • Aid in compliance efforts assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Contribute to incident response activities participating in investigations and reporting.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
  • Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.


What you will bring

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in industry with a background in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in information security.
  • Proficiencies in risk management compliance and security technologies
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA are a plus!
