Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lambethto assist with the appointment of a Secondary SEMH Outreach Advisor on a 6.5-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 324.00 - 426.28 per day

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SEMH Outreach Advisor (Secondary) to support schools in improving outcomes for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and those at risk of suspension or permanent exclusion. You will work collaboratively with schools families and multi-agency partners to strengthen inclusive practice deliver early intervention and build school capacity through coaching training and strategic support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support schools with SEMH outreach behaviour strategies and inclusion planning.
  • Coordinate early intervention and reintegration support for pupils at risk of exclusion.
  • Deliver training coaching and advice to school staff SENCOs and senior leaders.
  • Analyse attendance behaviour and exclusion data to inform interventions and service improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with education health social care and other partner agencies to secure positive outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PGCE or equivalent.
  • Qualified SENCO qualification senior leadership experience in inclusion/SEMH or equivalent experience.

Essentials:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND exclusions safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Experience working with schools and multi-agency partners.
  • Experience delivering staff training coaching and professional development.
  • Ability to analyse behaviour attendance and exclusion data.
  • Strong communication organisation and case management skills.
