Secondary LSA Hackney ASAP Start

Are you a motivated graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience as a Secondary LSA A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated Secondary LSA to join their team on an ASAP start.

Secondary LSA What the School Offers

  • Supporting teachers across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classrooms
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group academic interventions
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs where required
  • Helping students develop confidence independence and engagement
  • Working with teachers to monitor pupil progress and overcome barriers to learning

Secondary LSA What the School is Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a leading UK university and have previous child-centred experience through tutoring mentoring coaching youth work or similar settings. Excellent communication skills patience and a genuine commitment to supporting young people are essential.
