In this full-time role you will deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 A-Level modules for suitably qualified candidates. You will join a supportive faculty focused on raising student achievement promoting scientific inquiry and fostering a passion for Biology Chemistry and Physics.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary Science alongside an undergraduate degree in Biology Chemistry Physics or a related STEM discipline.

• Teaching Mastery: Strong subject knowledge with a proven ability to deliver engaging high-impact lessons aligned with GCSE exam board specifications (AQA/Edexcel/OCR).

• Classroom Management: Outstanding organizational and classroom management skills fostering a focused safe and analytical learning environment.

• Student Attainment: Experience in tracking pupil progress managing practical lab sessions safely and running targeted revision workshops to raise exam outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic Biology Chemistry and Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).

• Manage practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively in compliance with school and national safety guidelines.

• Regularly mark work conduct diagnostic assessments and provide constructive feedback to accelerate student progress.

• Contribute to departmental schemes of work shared planning and extra-curricular STEM enrichment activities clubs and science fairs.
