The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging lessons that enable students to develop a strong understanding of Biology Chemistry and Physics.

You will create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where students develop practical investigation skills alongside scientific knowledge. The department offers a broad curriculum supported by enrichment opportunities including STEM activities science clubs educational visits and competitions that encourage students to explore science beyond the classroom.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level

  • Ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills

  • Passion for delivering engaging and practical science lessons

Desirable

  • Specialism in Biology Chemistry or Physics

  • Experience teaching A-Level Science

  • Experience leading STEM enrichment activities

  • A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
