Wayman Education is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Rainhill on a maternity cover contract.
Rainhill High School is an 1118 academy in Prescot and is currently recruiting for a full-time Science Teacher to cover maternity leave. The position is advertised on the Main Pay Range to Upper Pay Range and closes on 9 October 2026.
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons.
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.
Support students across a range of abilities.
Work collaboratively with the wider Science team.
QTS or equivalent.
Strong Science subject knowledge.
Experience teaching secondary Science.
A flexible and committed approach.
Strong classroom management skills.
