Job Summary
A highly successful school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its dedicated department on a full-time basis with an ASAP start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher who can inspire students to develop their scientific knowledge curiosity and analytical skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons while creating a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to achieve their potential.
The successful Science Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5 delivering a broad and engaging curriculum and supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons
Teaching across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Degree in Science or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Ability to teach confidently through KS5
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for Science and education
