Job Summary
A high-achieving secondary school in Telford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful Science department on a full-time basis starting ASAP.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range while contributing to a positive culture of achievement.
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 to KS5 delivering well-planned lessons that challenge and support students of different abilities. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to ensure students receive a broad engaging and high-quality Science education.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement
Contributing positively to the wider Science department
The school is looking for a Science Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school
Can confidently teach across KS3 to KS5
Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
Is committed to raising attainment and student engagement
Works well as part of a collaborative department
