Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Science Teacher to join their expanding STEM faculty from September. This is a full-time permanent position ideal for an experienced practitioner or an outstanding Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to join a highly supportive collaborative department.

The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic practical and theoretical curriculum across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach specialized Chemistry or Physics modules up to A-Level (KS5). You will focus on developing scientific inquiry managing safe laboratory experimentations tracking student progress databases and preparing exam cohorts for outstanding results.

The Science department benefits from newly upgraded laboratories full-time technician support shared planning resources to manage workloads and state-of-the-art interactive teaching technologies.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • A degree in a core scientific field (Chemistry Physics or Biology)

  • Strong classroom management and a proactive approach to laboratory safety protocols (CLEAPSS frameworks)

  • Proven track record of raising attainment at GCSE and a desire to teach up to A-Level
