A high-achieving school in Carlisle is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about science and keen to make a positive impact on students progress and engagement.

The successful Science Teacher will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach through KS5 where appropriate. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment supporting students academic development and contributing to the wider science curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons.

• Teaching across KS3-KS5 depending on experience.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department.

• Contributing to enrichment and wider school activities where appropriate.

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge across Science.

• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A commitment to high standards and student achievement.

• Enthusiasm for developing students interest and confidence in Science.
