You will deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with opportunities to teach up to Key Stage 5 where appropriate. You will help students develop their understanding of scientific principles strengthen their practical skills and build confidence in Biology Chemistry and Physics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering stimulating lessons that cater to different abilities and learning styles.

• Explaining scientific concepts clearly and incorporating practical activities where appropriate.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support improvement.

• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and encouraging active participation.

• Supporting examination preparation through targeted revision and intervention.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and improve teaching outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge effective classroom management skills and a genuine passion for Science.

Applicants should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.

• Strong lesson-planning assessment and organisational skills.

• The ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• A commitment to high expectations and continuous professional development.
