The Role

A highly regarded Secondary Academy in Bristol is seeking a professional scientifically minded and exceptionally organised Chemistry Specialist to join their high-performing Science faculty. You will act as a primary link with parents examination boards and local university science networks requiring absolute professionalism and data accuracy at all times. Strong organisational skills are a prerequisite as you will balance heavy mock diagnostic marking cycles with real-time digital progress logging and strict laboratory health and safety compliance tracking (COSHH frameworks).

Requirements
  • A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field

  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry up to GCSE and A-Level specifications

  • Professional and proactive approach to managing laboratory health and safety protocols (COSHH frameworks)

  • Good IT and data tracking capabilities with confidence using digital learning platform tracking systems

  • Ability to work effectively and adaptably within a fast-paced science department
