Working as part of the schools leadership and support team you will oversee the day-to-day management of the site ensuring the buildings grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the smooth running of the school.

Core Responsibilities

  • Site & Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance security and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Lead on health and safety procedures statutory compliance risk assessments fire safety and site inspections ensuring all legal requirements are met.

  • Contractor & Project Management: Manage contractors planned maintenance procurement and site improvement projects ensuring works are completed safely on time and within budget.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the site and cleaning teams promoting high standards of service and responding efficiently to the operational needs of the school.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in premises facilities or site management ideally within an educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation building maintenance and compliance.

  • Excellent organisational communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage contractors budgets and multiple priorities effectively.

  • A proactive hands-on approach and the legal right to work in the UK.
