A busy school in St Albans is seeking an IT Technician to support staff and pupils with day-to-day technical requirements.
The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues and help maintain the schools IT infrastructure.
Provide technical support to staff and pupils.
Diagnose hardware and software faults.
Install and maintain IT equipment.
Support classroom technology.
Assist with user account issues.
Maintain support records.
Assist with network maintenance.
Monitor IT equipment.
Support software updates.
Escalate complex issues where appropriate.
Previous IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good understanding of hardware and software.
Basic networking knowledge.
Good communication.
Organised approach.
Relevant IT qualifications are advantageous.
