• Working pattern: Afternoons 15:1017:40. Morning shifts 05:3008:00 may also be considered.

• Salary: Grade 1 SCP 3 (indicative)

A school in Birmingham is looking for a reliable Cleaner to support the day-to-day upkeep of its premises. The successful candidate will help ensure that learning spaces and shared facilities are clean hygienic and ready for use.

• Complete scheduled cleaning duties across the school.

• Clean classrooms corridors toilets and communal areas.

• Remove litter and waste safely.

• Replenish washroom supplies and notify the supervisor of low stock.

• Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely.

• Clean and store equipment correctly after use.

• Report any faults damage or potential hazards.

• Support the wider cleaning team when cover is needed.

• A dependable organised and thorough individual.

• Good attention to detail and pride in their work.

• The ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.

• A flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.

Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but training can be provided for the right candidate.
