School Caretaker managing site security reactive repairs and statutory safety checks
Full-time permanent role (Shift-Pattern Framework) September start
Our client is seeking a reliable hands-on School Caretaker to join their dedicated premises department from September. Operating on a flexible shift pattern you will take daily responsibility for maintaining a safe clean and mechanically efficient environment for pupils and staff.
Key duties include executing morning unlocking or evening lockup routines carrying out first-line reactive fabric repairs (basic plumbing carpentry and redecoration) managing hall setups for assemblies and clubs and logging routine statutory safety checkssuch as fire alarm tests emergency lighting checks and water hygiene temperature logs.
