Were recruiting a School Business Manager for a school in Walsall. This is a hands-on position for someone who can keep the schools business operations organised maintain strong financial controls and provide reliable support to the Headteacher and wider leadership team.

Youll oversee a broad range of responsibilities so this role would suit someone who is practical well organised and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day decisions.

• Manage budgets financial records and expenditure monitoring.

• Oversee purchasing invoices suppliers and contract arrangements.

• Coordinate HR administration recruitment paperwork and staff records.

• Support premises management health and safety and compliance.

• Maintain accurate systems and prepare information for audits and reviews.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and make effective use of resources.

• Experience in school business management or a related finance and operations role.

• Good financial and administrative skills.

• An understanding of HR premises management and compliance.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.

• A professional approachable manner and the ability to handle confidential information.

Youll have a varied role with genuine responsibility working closely with school leadership and helping ensure resources are used effectively to support pupils and staff.
