We are seeking an organised proactive and experienced School Business Manager to join a high-achieving school in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident professional to take responsibility for key business and operational functions helping the school run efficiently and supporting its continued development.

The successful candidate will oversee the schools business operations ensuring that financial administrative and operational processes are effective and well managed. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team the School Business Manager will play an important role in strategic planning and day-to-day decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing budgets financial reporting and expenditure.

• Overseeing procurement contracts and supplier relationships.

• Leading and supporting administrative and operational staff.

• Managing premises health and safety procedures and compliance.

• Supporting strategic planning and contributing to the schools development.

• Ensuring robust systems and processes are in place across the school.

• Previous experience in a School Business Manager or similar operational leadership role.

• Strong financial management budgeting and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.

• A commitment to supporting a positive and effective school environment.
