A well-established primary school in Watford is looking to appoint a dedicated School Business Manager on a full-time permanent basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and forward-thinking professional to lead the schools operational functions. Working alongside the Headteacher and leadership team youll play a key role in ensuring the school remains financially strong well-managed and able to provide the very best environment for pupils and staff.

As School Business Manager youll provide strategic and operational leadership across the schools business services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing school finances budgets and financial reporting

• Leading HR administration and recruitment

• Overseeing site management facilities and health & safety

• Managing procurement and external contracts

• Supporting governance and compliance

• Leading office and administrative teams

• Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
