A successful Secondary School in Nottingham is seeking a professional and organised School Administrator to join its dedicated support staff team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys providing high-quality administrative support. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the office team helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school while delivering a welcoming and efficient service to students parents staff and visitors.

Working closely with the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team you will manage reception answer telephone and email enquiries welcome visitors and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times. You will maintain accurate pupil records process admissions documentation update attendance information and support wider administrative functions across the school.

You will also organise meetings prepare correspondence and reports maintain confidential records update the schools management information system and assist with the administration of educational visits examinations and school events. The role requires excellent attention to detail the ability to prioritise workloads and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a supportive team and will take pride in maintaining efficient administrative systems that contribute to the overall success of the school.

Requirements
  • Previous school administration experience desirable

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office

  • Experience using Arbor SIMS or Bromcom desirable

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Professional friendly and proactive approach
