SAP HCM Payroll Consultant – UK & Canadian

Qualifications :

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: July 31 2027
Work set up: Hybrid (team is 100% remote; occasional client office visit to Derby required)
Clearance required: BPSS and SC Clearance

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with strong UK and Canadian payroll experience to support SAP payroll configuration implementation and live support environments. The role requires expertise across SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll SAP ECC SAP HCM Time Management SAP Core Payroll and SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management with strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing year-end processing payroll legislation and compliance.

What you will do:

• Configure and support SAP Payroll solutions across UK and Canadian environments.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing and year-end processing.
• Apply detailed knowledge of UK and Canadian payroll legislation statutory payments deductions and compliance obligations.
• Apply knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial tax legislation payroll compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Write and maintain Payroll PCR schemas.
• Support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll SAP ECC SAP HCM Time Management SAP Core Payroll and SAP S/4HANA Human Capital Management.
• Apply strong functional HCM knowledge across Payroll Personnel Administration Time Management and Country Legal Changes.
• Support interfaces to third-party vendors.
• Collaborate across broader technical areas including Workflow ABAP BASIS Security and Integration.
• Work independently to investigate issues and provide reliable solutions to customers.
• Support multiple project lifecycles and live support environments.
• Contribute innovative and open-minded approaches to change and dynamic team environments.
• Provide clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Deliver a first-class service while collaborating with the wider team and client stakeholders.

Additional Information :

• Bring proven experience as an SAP HCM Consultant gained across multiple project lifecycles and live support environments.
• Demonstrate strong SAP Payroll configuration and support experience.
• Possess strong UK and Canadian payroll experience including current project experience.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial tax legislation payroll compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of UK and Canadian payroll legislation statutory payments deductions and compliance obligations.
• Possess expertise in writing Payroll PCR schemas.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of interfaces to third-party vendors.
• Bring strong functional knowledge across Payroll Personnel Administration Time Management and Country Legal Changes.
• Demonstrate broader technical awareness of Workflow ABAP BASIS Security and Integration.
• Work independently while providing reliable and effective customer solutions.
• Possess very good written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold a valid UK Passport.
• Hold BPSS clearance and be SC Cleared.
