A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL
This role is part-time working 3 days per week typically Monday Tuesday and Thursday.
What youll be doing..
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients acting as a primary contact for all group LNR & KNR accounts
Identify new business opportunities through networking partnerships positioning the hotel as a preferred hotel in the market
Attend central sales meetings and commercial reviews
Manage and negotiate rates with new and existing clients
Analyse data to identify trends and follow up on any action needed
Prepare detailed sales reports and provide support to General Manager on strategic decision-making
Generate new leads
Manage the hotels social media
What We Need from You:
Minimum of 2 years experience in sales within the hospitality sector with a proven record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively
A keen interest in social media
Exceptional communication and presentation skills both written and verbal with a professional and persuasive approach
In-depth understanding of sales principles and strategies with experience in strategic planning forecasting and performance analysis
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to generate and analyse sales data from other systems
Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
Highly organised able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work outside of regular hours including evenings and weekends and attend off-site meetings or events as required
A positive proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities in line with hotel objective
