Sales Engineer

Role: Sales Engineer

Location: North West England

Contract type: Full time permanent

Carrier now has an opportunity for a HVAC Sales Engineer based in the North West area. You will be responsible for driving sales growth of HVAC products and solutions combining engineering knowledge with customer-facing sales activities. You will work closely with contractors consultants and end-users to design and recommend systems that meet client needs.

What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams.
• Build and maintain relationships primarily with contractors but also engage with consultants and end users.
• Assist clients with system design and troubleshooting
• Target and identify new/potential direct account customers (End Users Public Bodies Installers M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants).
• Collaborate with vertical and key accounts teams order management teams and project managers for smooth project delivery.
• Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of HVAC industry
• Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors & M&Es &/or specification consultants
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and equipment
• Competitor knowledge
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• UK Driving Licence
• IT Literate with MS Office skills
