Job Title: Sales ConsultantReporting to: Store ManagerAbout the RoleThe customer is at the heart of what we do at Johnstons of Elgin and providing a first-class shopping experience and exceptional service to visitors is will be:building strong relationships with customers to drive repeat businessoperating the till and carrying out transactionsconducting mill tours an ambassador of the company sharing knowledge of company processes involved in both woven and knitted cashmere productsconfident in styling & advising customers on fit and stylesassisting with visual merchandising stock management & replenishmentClientellingTo enable the successful candidate to deliver outstanding service full training in product knowledge the production process and the company heritage will be a permanent part-time opportunity working 10 hours per week. This includes working weekends so flexibility is of pay for this position starts at 13.45 per YouYou willhave exemplary customer service skills and an understanding of luxury retailhave a keen interest in craftmanship and authentic Scottish textile manufacturingpreferably have previous experience within a fast-paced customer facing environmentbe a team playerhave a pro-active approach and can-do attitudehave excellent communication skillsbe able to stay calm under pressurehave high attention to detail and drive high standards on the shop floorhave strong commercial awareness and keep up to date with the latest fashion trendswill be confident in clientelling including taking customers details following up by phone WhatsApp or email and contacting prospective clientsbe willing to learn new things and adapt to changesPreferred Qualifications/ExperienceMandarin speakerprevious experience in clientelling or telemarketingAbout UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
