Were looking for a skilled and motivated Safety Technician to join our high-performing Lifting & TIC division. If youre passionate about safety equipment thrive on solving problems and want to be part of a business thats growing fastthis could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.

As a Safety Technician youll play a key role in keeping our inventory of inertia reels fall arrest blocks gas detectors and everything our customers need for gaining access to confined spaces safely. Youll inspect test and maintain equipment in our workshop ensuring its safe reliable and ready to go when our customers need it.

This is a hands-on high-impact role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people.

What Youll Be Doing

Inspecting testing and maintaining a wide range of safety equipment within the GAP inventory
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Accurately updating service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Occasionally attending depots to carry out repairs and maintenance
Supporting the depot team to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction

About You

What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach including:

Proven experience working in a similar role - candidates out with the lifting industry are welcomed as full training will be provided!
Experience diagnosing and repairing safety equipment faults would be highly beneficial
LEEA qualified is desirable but not essential
A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative team spirit
A full valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
