Room Leader

29300 per year Level 3 40 Hours per Week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery where youll have the freedom to lead your room inspire your team and help children build the confidence and skills theyll carry with them long after they leave nursery.

Working closely with the wider management team youll play an important role in maintaining high standards of care and education while creating exciting play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity creativity and independence.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader Deputy Room Leader or an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive and supportive approach to mentoring colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for helping children learn grow and thrive.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room ensuring exceptional standards of care and education.
  • Inspire support and develop your team through positive leadership and mentoring.
  • Plan engaging play-based activities that encourage childrens confidence creativity and independence.
  • Observe assess and support childrens individual learning journeys in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues.
  • Create a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can flourish.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding health and safety and early years practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to continually improve the quality of the nursery.
