Room Leader

30800 per annum 40 Hours Per Week

Designed with childrens development in mind the nursery provides a modern and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn explore and build confidence through play. The setting is thoughtfully arranged across age-specific rooms ensuring children benefit from learning experiences tailored to their stage of development interests and individual needs.

Equipped with a wide range of high-quality resources and learning materials the nursery supports children at every stage of their early years journey while creating a safe stimulating and nurturing environment where they can thrive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional who enjoys leading a team supporting childrens development and helping to maintain outstanding standards of care and education.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
  • A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support mentor and develop team members
  • Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support childrens development
  • Monitor childrens progress through observations and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding health & safety and nursery standards are consistently maintained
  • Create a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive
