Were looking for an experienced Room Leader to join their Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a setting that has been thoughtfully designed to support exceptional early years education.

The nurserys light-filled open-plan rooms provide a calm and inspiring environment where children can learn through play while free-flow access between the indoor and outdoor spaces encourages independence confidence and curiosity. Every area has been created to promote exploration helping children develop the skills they need as they progress through their early years.

What Were Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience as a Room Leader Senior Nursery Practitioner or similar senior role
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills
• Experience supporting and developing practitioners
• A warm nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
• Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework
• Support mentor and motivate practitioners within your team
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that promote childrens development
• Encourage childrens independence through the nurserys free-flow learning environment
• Observe assess and monitor childrens progress
• Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues
• Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding health & safety and nursery practice
